Magellan Maestro 4370 which we first mentioned at the beginning of this year has shown up recently on Magellan’s website. It is priced at $600 making it their most expensive GPS navigation unit. Looking at the features we can’t quite tell why it is so expensive. It has a 4.3″ screen, text-to-speech, bluetooth, FM transmitter, traffic receiver, and maps for the 50 states, Canada, and Puerto Rico, and lane assistance.

Nextar just released the news of their new GPS navigation system today. Called Nextar ME, the device features a 3.5″ screen and a slim body measuring only 0.7 inches. The maps on the unit are pre-installed and they are provided by Tele Atlas. There is currently no information on which version of maps they’re using.
