We just mentioned a GPS receiver for the older iPhone. Well if you have a new one iPhone 3G you don’t need any of that extra hardware and will probably appreciate this new application called motionX GPS lite. |

Magellan Maestro 4370 which we first mentioned at the beginning of this year has shown up recently on Magellan’s website. It is priced at $600 making it their most expensive GPS navigation unit. Looking at the features we can’t quite tell why it is so expensive. It has a 4.3″ screen, text-to-speech, bluetooth, FM transmitter, traffic receiver, and maps for the 50 states, Canada, and Puerto Rico, and lane assistance. |

Nextar just released the news of their new GPS navigation system today. Called Nextar ME, the device features a 3.5″ screen and a slim body measuring only 0.7 inches. The maps on the unit are pre-installed and they are provided by Tele Atlas. There is currently no information on which version of maps they’re using. |

Realtykast is launching the first GPS enabled multiple listing service. This will be an invaluable tool for real estate agents and buyers alike. Basically it uses GPS to locate the closest homes for sale. Then the user can call up the multiple service listing service and see the information about the homes for sale in the area. This service can be used on most smart phones and will roll out to a lucky thirty-thousand initial users. |
