First off we now know they no longer have that SD slot in the front. Secondly, it is going to cost $900. For this price you get a serious bluetooth device with OEM connection cable, iPod connection cable, mic, and mounting stuff. In addition of course you have the GPS navigation system which requires a separate module that can be installed anywhere in your vehicle. The nice thing about this is that it uses an external GPS antenna which can go on top of your vehicle for better signal reception. |

There’s a new app for the Apple iPhone called Cams Ahoy!. It utilizes the GPS capability of iPhone and can provide alerts when a photo enforcement device such as speed cameras or red lights cameras are approaching. |

We’ve talked about numerous nuvi’s here at Navigadget but apparently we’ve still missed a few. One of those is the Garmin Nuvi 510 which is made for the European market. Nuvi 510 contains regional maps, one for Benelux, one for Italy and Greece, and another for Spain and Portugal. Its equivalent here would be the Nuvi 500 which costs $500 in States. Expect to pay about 300 € in Europe. |

Samsung is expanding its touch screen high resolution camera phone line up with Samsung PIXON M8800. It is expected to hit the shelves in many European countries as early as this month or early November for an unknown price but you can expect to pay around 550 € for this slim ( 13.8mm to be exact) phone with a really sharp 3.2″ touch screen. |

Vision Tech America has a new GPS navigation system lined up called VTN4301. It has a wide 4.3″ screen with anti-glare coating, and preloaded maps of entire USA and Canada. It comes with non-replaceable rechargeable 1100mAh Li-Ion battery but we’re not sure how long that would last with a screen this size - even though they claim it would last 4.5 hours. |
